Part of our philosophy includes using recycled materials for packaging wherever possible. Every scrap of paper the company generates is finally shredded and re-used. We want to make a minimal impact on the environment, and are continually looking for ways to make this happen.
netpack is constantly seeking to reduce the carbon footprint we create.
We have now switched to a green energy supplier to heat and power our buildings.
List of areas where netpack recycle and control their environmental impact.
- All flat sheet paper waste is shredded and re-used as packing.
- All cardboard box waste is shredded and re-used as packing reinforcement.
- All departments have paper and plastic/metal recycle bins.
- The canteen at netpack has a waste food bin for composting.
- Where possible netpack will control a paper free environment.
- Redundant machinery will be donated to charities for re-use.
- All strip lighting bulbs are sent for ‘safe destroy & recycling’.
- Stock/material destruction recycling.
